99Sounds releases Cinematic Transitions, a collection of 50 free transition sound effects designed by Gonçalo Penas.
Cinematic Transitions is a collection of complex transition sound effects, suitable for use in video projects, movie trailers, cinematic soundtracks, music projects, game development, etc.
The library contains a variety of designed transition sounds, including whooshes, fly-by sounds, sci-fi noises, and more. All included sounds are royalty-free.
The sound effects were designed by Gonçalo Penas, a talented sound designer whose work was published by Gothic Storm, Phantom Power, Last Sonic Frontier, and others. He also collaborated with the plugin developer Imaginando to create the factory library presets for their FRMS virtual synthesizer (currently on sale).
If you’re interested in learning about sound design, be sure to check out the details on the download page. Gonçalo provided some details about what it takes to craft a collection like Cinematic Transitions.
He used a variety of sound design techniques to create layered transition sounds suitable for use in sci-fi projects.
You can hear some of the sounds in the video demo below.
Obviously, the included sounds will work great as sound effects in video projects. However, you can also use them as transition sound effects in your music projects.
