Volery Gallery presents Dreamcast, a group exhibition opening on 12 May 2022. Images of colourful flat worlds that are filled with innocent and friendly characters were everyone’s first childhood companions. Dreamcast is a group exhibition with a lineup of contemporary established artists.

Their works will come together to propose a new universe overtaken by characters inspired by animated films and video games from the 90s with a modern age twist. The artworks in the exhibition cast a dreamlike scenery, through which the viewers are taken back to their childhood safe places, away from daily strains and hardships. The characters nuanced intimacy leads the imagination into a path with an unknown destination and a discovery trip to an amicable alternative reality.
