The lowest Apple Watch Series 7 prices and deals in {month} {year}

Making the most of a low Apple Watch Series 7 price is, to say the least, pretty desirable. Everyone seems to want the newest of the Apple Watches, and we can see why. They are the best Apple Watch yet (even if they are not the massive leap forward from the Apple Watch 6 that many were expecting). But, to quote The Stones, you can’t always get what you want. Poor Apple Watch Series 7 stock supplies has meant supply its tripping over itself to keep up with demand, resulting in soaring Apple Watch Series 7 prices, or just sold out badges instead of prices.

Unfortunately, 2022 looks similarly bleak – on both the 41mm and the Apple Watch series 7 45mm models, as the stock that is released is grabbed up quickly. So what does a good Apple Watch Series 7 price look like today? To start with, the Apple Watch 7 is still being sold over at Apple for its September 2021 release price of $399/£349, and in our opinion, that’s fairly priced for what you get. We’ve had our hands on nearly all the Apple Watches to date, and we believe the latest is the greatest, no question.

For context, over last year’s Black Friday we saw the Apple Watch Series 7 price fall by around $50 (which lasted a few minutes before stock ran out). Right now, the best Apple Watch Series 7 prices that you’ll be seeing are actually renewed models over on Amazon. These are guaranteed, but not new, so be aware of that if you head over to the smiley retailer. Will there be better Apple Watch Series 7 deals coming up? We hope that the coming Memorial Day 2022 will provide some much needed discounts, but until then, scroll down for the best Apple Watch Series 7 prices right now.

Below the deals, we get into some details of the Apple Watch Series 7 – from the price to its display and features. It’s safe to say, we like the Apple Watch Series 7, but if you’re looking to save even more money, take a look at our guide to the best Apple Watch SE deals, and the best Apple Watch Series 3 prices.

We’re unlikely to see many massive Apple Watch Series 7 deals for a while since it’s still relatively fresh. Plus it’s the best Apple Watch so far, and it’s still in massive demand. That means that you’ll probably have to pay the retail price, which starts at $399/£369 for the 41mm GPS model and $429/£399 for the Apple Watch series 7 45mm GPS version. The cellular versions (which offer data access with supported carriers) start at $499/£469 (41mm) and $529/£499 (45mm)

These are the prices for models with an aluminium case and a sport loop, solo loop or sport band. You’ll pay more if you want a braided sport loop or leather link strap, and the most expensive standard model is the silver case with a buckle strap. There are also Apple Watch 7 special editions, including the Nike edition and Hermes edition, which are way more pricey (we don’t include those in the above deals widget).

We saw some small discounts on Black Friday and around Christmas 2021. Amazon slashed $20/£20 off in the US and the UK, and Very also had £20 in the UK. The best deal to date was in the US and saw $50 come off the blue model of the 41mm Series 7. It didn’t last the morning!

Is the Apple Watch 7 display any good?

Oh yeah! Though it was rumoured that the Apple Watch Series 7 would be flat-edged, like the iPhone 13, but ultimately wasn’t, it has provided the thinnest bezels for any Apple Watch to date, at just 1.7mm. That, combined with a larger case, results in a display that’s 20% bigger than Apple Watch 6 (see the best Apple Watch Series 6 prices available here).

Instead of the 40mm and 44mm options that came with the Apple Watch 6, and indeed the 5 and 4 before it, the Apple Watch 7 comes in 41mm and 45mm versions. The other notable improvement in the new display is that, compared with the Apple Watch 6, it’s 70% brighter indoors when in always-on mode, and it’s now big enough to feature a QWERTY keyboard, with QuickPath tap and drag technology.

What are the Apple Watch Series 7 specs?

The Apple Watch 7 features Apple’s S7 chip, 32GB of storage and promises 18 hours of battery life. That’s all in line with the Series 6, but where it differs is that the Apple Watch 7’s battery can charge 30% faster than its predecessor, boasting an 80% charge in just 45 minutes.

This new Apple Watch also shares the same sensor as last year’s, so you’ll have to wait for the hotly anticipated blood pressure and glucometers features in Apple Watch Series 8 (or beyond). However, you can still track your blood oxygen levels, ECG and heart rate, so it’s still a solid smartwatch for fitness buffs. There’s also a new mindfulness app, cycling fall detection and calorie burning calculator, which overall makes this the best Apple Watch to date.

When was the Apple Watch Series 7 released?

The Apple Watch Series 7 was announced on 14 September, alongside the iPhone 13, was available for pre-order on the 8 October, and has been available to buy since 15 October 2021. It was rumoured that stock was fairly low initially, but we saw some small discounts on Black Friday 2021 all the same (though they didn’t last long).
